So, thanks to a sweet friend I canned for the first time this year. And I’m pretty proud of all these jars.
We canned spaghetti sauce, salsa, black beans, peaches, and peach jam. 74 jars of goodness. On a funny note, a few days ago I had gone to bed a little while before L.J., and had fallen asleep. When he got in bed he tried to snuggle me, but I guess I kept kicking and pushing him away. The next morning he asked me what that was all about. I dreamed he was smashing blanched tomatoes all over me. “Too much canning,” was his reply. :)
