i hate this part.

Grant went back to Arkansas a couple days ago. We have all been moping around the house ever since. Life is not normal at our house without him. We had tons of fun while he was here. Ellie adores him. She always calls him "my Granster". He adores LJ. He bonded with Addie. (Give him another year for Macie.) Him and I have a lot in common. We won't see him again until Christmas. We love him a whole lot!

I Like Her A Lot.

Macie is at a fun age. Old enough to be saying words and showing personality, but too young to "know better," so her mischievous deeds are still a little endearing. Except for that day she found my scriptures and ripped about 50 pages out of them. That wasn't very cute. Some of my favorite things about her:
Her newest word is "ta-to" (thank you). She really knows when to use it.

When she wakes up in the morning and after naps she wants about 15 minutes of snuggles then she's off, and pretty much entertains herself until she gets hungry or tired. Perfect balance.

She usually waves goodbye with both arms.

She recently learned how to give kisses. I will do just about anything to get one (you know, the open mouth ones). Sometimes she gives 'attack kisses' - like ten in a row - and usually this is unsolicited.

She loves to share her food. Okay, really it's force feeding. When she wants to share, she won't take no for an answer.

She is becoming a little tease. Several times I have been holding her with LJ standing nearby. I will ask her for a kiss and she she will come in for a kiss then turn to LJ and kiss him instead (or vice versa). Then she laughs and laughs. She knows she's funny.

She's such a sweet girl. We're not really sure what we ever did without her.
