St. Louis, Arkansas, and Edward (heart)
Last weekend LJ and I went to St. Louis to see his family (his dad's family still lives there) and then we drove to Arkansas so LJ could baptize Grant. We didn't take any kids - our first real get away since Ellie was born. Despite missing the kids, we had a blast! It was so fun to talk and hang out, it almost felt like we were dating again!
After lunch, we got to take Grant until the next morning. We swam in the hotel pool, and had grand plans of going to Build-a-Bear and bowling. On our way to Build-a-Bear (at an outdoor mall), we stopped at Borders. Three hours and 8 books later, it was too late to go bowling or to Build-a-Bear. We only left because the store was closing! So we went to IHOP instead. I love Granster so much, and it was fun to be able to spend some quality time with just him.

Huggy Pages
Seriously, nothing much to post about - so here are some Addie pages (still by Mom). I can't believe how sweet she used to be. Okay, she's still sweet sometimes. . .

Digi Scrapbooking
I wish I could say these pages are my creations. But they aren't. My mom made these! She has become a great digital scrapbooker. Last time she was here she brought her external hard drive and loaded her pages on my computer and loaded some of my pages on her hard drive - so she can make more cute pages of my kids! Because I can only load 5 pics at a time (does anyone know how to do more? that is one of my biggest blogging frustrations), I thought I would break them into kids. So here is Grant. . .

Funny Stuff
Here is a funny story LJ related to me today (and he even wrote it down - he's awesome).
Ellie asked if she could go to her friend Shelby's house (our backyards touch, so she just has to go out the back door about 50 feet to get to her back door). LJ told her no, they were going to the store soon. He went upstairs to do something, heard the back door close, and knew that Ellie had gone to Shelby's. He went over to get her. As soon as they got home, he made her sit on her bed for disobeying. She cried for a while, and he finally let her come out. He offered her a cookie and said, "Will this make you feel better?" Ellie replied, "I miss Danica and that's why I want a cookie!" She took the cookie, looked it over, and and said, "This cookie says that I can't go to Shelby's."
She cracks us up!
